- Great place to stay if you want to renew your working holiday visa.- Work can be found easily if you are able to ask people in the hostel and/or drive around the town (I used bicycle from the hostel for free). - Everything is clean on daily basis. - Fans, heater and extra blankets are provided when needed. - Managers are helpful and keep the place super clean.- free swimming pool 200m from there (spring/summer).> bad reviews are clearly from backpackers who expected office jobs and rooftop swimming pool. Batlow is a remote town, you'll be outside your comfort zone : this is the beauty of travelling.
Its a clean hostel, managers are so nice. And no problem with the bonds.Just enjoy the time while you are here.
I stayed for almost four weeks and the experience was quite pleasant. Great place and the managers are lovely and very kind. Big kitchen, nice room, and everything you need. It has a good price-quality ratio.
I stayed there long enough to say that it was a nice stay. The managers are very friendly, not to mention that they did and still do a good job keeping the place clean and with the renovations.It's good to have 2 kitchens including a spacious one. Also it's very nice to have a pool table as well as a ping pong room.Thank you managers!
I stayed at the Wakehurst for just under 3 months whilst completing my farmwork at some local orchards. We had an awesome time staying here and it was perfect for our situation. It's clean the facilities are great, and the management were absolutely lovely and accommodating. We had no issues with the returning of our bonds whatsoever. If you're doing regional work in Batlow I would highly recommend staying here.
